What can you do with a Vastu floor plan?
VastuGrid AI brings the plan, direction grid, room markers and devta regions into one view. It helps you explain where a room or entrance sits within the selected Vastu layout. You can work with 16 directions, 32 entrance zones and 45 devta regions, then use the 3D studio to discuss the home visually.
For a homeowner, this makes an unfamiliar plan easier to read. For a consultant, it provides a shared view for discussing a layout with a client. The result depends on the boundary, north direction and measurements you supply, so checking those inputs is the first step.
Start with your actual map
- Choose Vastu from the app dashboard. Import an image or PDF plan, or draw a plan using the available tools.
- Mark the property boundary. Follow the outline you intend to analyse. Check irregular corners and decide which areas belong to the plan.
- Set north and a known measurement. A rotated drawing still needs the correct north direction. Use a measured wall to calibrate the plan before relying on dimensions.
- Review the overlays. Compare directions, the centre, room positions and entrance regions. Zoom in where labels or corners need a closer look.
- Open the 3D home. Check walls and openings, set the height and add furniture for a clearer presentation.
A 3D view for clearer conversations
The studio includes a whole-home view and a walk-inside mode. Devta regions can appear as floor tiles so that the plan stays readable while you move through the home. Select a tile deliberately to open its explanation. Hindi and English controls help you present to different clients, and fullscreen provides more room for the home.
The 3D model is a visual aid based on your supplied plan and edits. Check that walls, doors and room sizes match the original drawing before showing a final version. Construction dimensions and structural changes should be confirmed against the project drawings.
Continue a saved Vastu project
From the dashboard, choose Vastu → Open project in the top toolbar. Select your saved VastuGrid file; you do not need to upload a placeholder map. A project containing a saved 3D model opens in the studio with its saved layout, furniture and notes.
Before you begin
- Use a clear, uncropped plan with readable corners.
- Keep one reliable wall measurement ready, including its units.
- Confirm north independently of the top edge of the image.
- Review automatically traced walls and openings before accepting them.
Vastu interpretations follow a traditional framework. A direction overlay describes that framework; it does not guarantee a particular personal outcome.
Questions before you begin
Can I analyse an apartment instead of a new house?
Yes. Start with the apartment plan and check the boundary, entrance and north direction. An existing layout can be reviewed without drawing a new home.
Does uploading an image automatically set the correct scale?
No. Image size is not a real-world measurement. Set a known length and verify another dimension before using the plan for size comparisons.
Do I need to enter 3D before opening a saved project?
No. Choose Vastu from the dashboard and use Open project in its top toolbar.
