VastuGrid AI ("we", "our", "the app") is a Vastu Shastra, Vedic/KP astrology, numerology and tarot application built by Nexastra. This policy explains what information the app collects, why, and how it is protected when you use VastuGrid AI on Android or at vastugridai.com.
Who this app is for
VastuGrid AI is used by two kinds of people: consultants (Vastu/astrology professionals who sign in with Google and manage their own clients) and clients (people a consultant has added, who log in with a PIN the consultant gives them). Some features — floor-plan drawing, kundli calculation, numerology, tarot — also work for a single user with no client relationship at all.
Information we collect

Where your data is stored
Consultant and client records, remedy plans, and appointments are stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Firebase Authentication), operated by Google. Floor plans you draw or import, unless you explicitly use an AI feature, are processed and saved locally on your device. Chat messages and AI-analyzed images are sent to Google's Gemini AI API for processing and are not permanently stored by us beyond what's needed to generate the reply.
Who can see a client's data
Only the consultant who added a client, and that client's own signed-in device, can read or write that client's records. This is enforced by Firestore security rules, not just by app-side checks — no other consultant or client can query another client's data.
Data we do not do
- We do not sell your personal data to advertisers or data brokers.
- We do not run third-party ad networks inside the app.
- We do not scan your device's photo library or files automatically — you always choose the specific image or PDF via the system file/photo picker.
Android permissions this app requests
- Internet / Network State — required for Firebase sync and AI features.
- Location (fine/coarse) — only used for the North Finder map tool and optional birth-place lookup; never collected in the background.
- Notifications — only used for remedy/Panchang reminders you can turn off any time in your phone's app settings.
- Receive boot completed / Vibrate — used to reschedule your reminders after a phone restart and to vibrate on notification.
Your choices
- You can deny location or notification permission and still use the app's core Vastu, kundli, numerology and tarot features.
- A consultant can delete a client's record from inside the app at any time.
- You can request full deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us (see Contact below) — we will remove it within 30 days.
Children
VastuGrid AI is intended for adult professional and general use. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we materially change what data we collect or how it's used, we will update this page and change the "Last updated" date above before the change ships in a new app version.
