NUMEROLOGY

Birth number, life path and name number

These labels refer to different inputs. A birth number, often called Mulank or Driver Number, comes from the day of birth. The life path or Bhagyank uses the full birth date. A name number uses the letters in a name and the letter-to-number system you select.

VastuGrid AI includes Chaldean and Pythagorean name-number options. Use the same method and the same spelling when comparing results. A different method can assign different values to letters, so the resulting totals need not match.

A worked birth-date example

Take 20 May 1987. In the app's single-digit date calculation:

  1. The day is 20: 2 + 0 = 2. The Driver Number is 2.
  2. The month is May: its number is 5.
  3. The year is 1987: 1 + 9 + 8 + 7 = 25, then 2 + 5 = 7.
  4. Combine the reduced date parts: 2 + 5 + 7 = 14, then 1 + 4 = 5. The Conductor Number is 5.

This example explains the arithmetic used by the app. Other numerology traditions may use different conventions, including how they handle master numbers; compare the method as well as the final number.

How to use the numerology calculator

  1. Sign in and choose Numerology from the app dashboard.
  2. Enter the birth date carefully, checking day and month order.
  3. For a name calculation, enter the spelling you intend to analyse and choose the available method.
  4. Review the calculation and grid before reading the associated interpretation.
  5. When comparing two names, keep the date and calculation method unchanged.

What does a Lo Shu grid show?

The Lo Shu view arranges numbers within a fixed nine-position grid. It helps you inspect repeated and missing numbers according to the app's selected calculation rules. It is a different view from a simple date total, so a grid and a life path number answer different questions.

Read the labels alongside the grid. A missing number describes a position in that numerology method; it is not proof that a person lacks a skill or will experience a particular event.

Make comparisons useful

Keep a note of the name spelling, date and method used. If a result differs from another calculator, compare those inputs first. For example, an abbreviated name and a full name are not the same input. A practical comparison records the difference instead of changing several settings at once.

Numerology is a traditional interpretive practice. The arithmetic is reproducible, but the meanings assigned to a result should not be treated as guaranteed personal outcomes.

Questions before you begin

Are Mulank and Bhagyank the same?

No. Mulank uses the day of birth; Bhagyank uses the full birth date. The worked example above shows how they can differ.

Why do two name calculators show different numbers?

Check the exact spelling and whether each calculator uses Chaldean, Pythagorean or another convention before comparing the totals.

Is numerology available in the same app as Vastu?

Yes. Choose Numerology from the shared dashboard after signing in.
