Not every question needs an in-person visit anymore. Whether it's a quick doubt about an upcoming date, a detailed Kundli Milan before a marriage, or an ongoing Vastu problem in a new home, most people today prefer to speak to a genuine, verified astrologer or Vastu consultant from their phone — on their own time, without travelling anywhere.
Here's how online consultations actually work, and how to get the most out of one.
The Three Ways You Can Connect
- Chat: Best for quick questions, or when you want a written record of the answer you can refer back to later.
- Voice Call: The most natural option for a detailed conversation — closest to an in-person consultation, without needing to be on camera.
- Video Call: Useful when the consultant needs to actually see something — like a floor plan, a photo of a space, or your hand for palmistry-adjacent questions.
What To Prepare Before Your Session
For An Astrology Consultation
Keep your exact date, time and place of birth ready — and if you're asking about compatibility or marriage matching, have the same details for the other person too. If you already have a kundli generated, share it at the start of the call so the consultant doesn't spend the first few minutes just calculating your chart.
For A Vastu Consultation
A floor plan (even a rough hand-drawn one, or a photo from your builder) speeds things up enormously. If you can also share the direction the main entrance faces, that's one less thing the consultant needs to figure out over a call.
Quick Tip: Write your actual question down before the session. "Is this a good time for my business?" gets a much more useful answer than a vague "please check my chart" — a specific question lets the consultant focus the reading where you actually need it.
How To Pick The Right Consultant
Look for a few things: how long they've actually been practising, whether their specialties match your question (marriage matching, career, Vastu, KP astrology, numerology are all somewhat different skills), and whether the platform actually verifies who they are before listing them — rather than letting anyone create a public profile with no review.
What Happens After The Call
A good consultation usually ends with a few clear, practical next steps — not just a list of problems. If remedies are suggested, ask specifically what to do, for how long, and how you'll know if it's working. For Vastu, this might mean small placement changes; for astrology, it might mean tracking your next few weeks against what was predicted.
